SCHOOL TAX INFORMATION 2024-25

Tax Bill Information:

School Tax bills for the 2024-25 fiscal school year will be mailed out by September 3, 2024

• Payments without penalty: September 3, 2024 – October 2, 2024 (postmark)

• Payments with 2% penalty: October 3, 2024-November 1, 2024 (postmark)

• Any amounts unpaid after November 1, 2024 (postmark) will be turned over to the Saratoga and Warren County Treasurer and will appear on your January Town and County Tax bill and will include additional penalties

Pay Online:
Starting on September 3, 2024, HLCSD is offering an online payment option.

• There is a transaction fee charged to the taxpayer: ACH fee $1.50, credit/debit card 2.65% with a $3 minimum

• Go to infotaxonline.com and select Hadley-Luzerne CSD from the list of school districts

• Locate your tax bill(s) by entering only one form of information such as the bill number or property owner's last name (leave all other fields blank)

• Once you locate the Tax Bill, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the "Pay" tab on the lower left, and follow the directions given by MuniciPay to make payment

• For ACH, you will need the 9-digit bank routing number as well as the account number from your personal check

• Contact the Tax Collector's office if the ACH payment does not clear your bank account within four business days

• Credit/Debit Card payment will approve or decline immediately

• A convenience fee will be charged to the taxpayer by the payment processing company, MuniciPay

Please note:

• Checks, money order, or certified bank checks must have a correct date (postdated checks will be returned)

• The numerical and written amounts must be the same

• Checks must be signed (unsigned checks will be returned)

• Please write a phone number on your check so if there are any issues, the Tax Collector can call and discuss them and possibly prevent a late payment

• To obtain a receipt, please return the entire tax bill(s) with your payment

• Processing time for check payments to clear payer's bank is 2-3 weeks

• Failure to receive a tax notice does not relieve a taxpayer of liability to pay said tax – if you do not receive your bill within a reasonable time, please call the school tax collector at 518-696-2378 x 1137

• If your taxes are in escrow, your bank received a copy of the bill for payment
